The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (JSBMB) will be publishing a Special Issue describing research presented at the 15th Vitamin D Workshop. It is expected that Invited Speakers will provide a manuscript of approximately 12 -14 double spaced pages (including Figures and Tables); these articles can describe new results or be a review of a selected area. Other registrants submitting an abstract for presentation at the Workshop may provide a manuscript of approximately 3-5 double spaced pages; these articles would describe data presented in a Poster or talk given at the Workshop. Both reviews and original research contributions are welcome, but they shall not (nor a part of it) be published elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed. These manuscripts are to be considered as original publications thereby precluding submission of data in these manuscripts that have been published or are expected to be published elsewhere without the permission of the JSBMB editors. For this Special Issue, each article must have an Abstract that does not exceed 350 words.
All authors should use GOOGLE to search using the following query, “JSBMB Instructions for Authors” and then download the PDF of JSBMB’s Instructions to Authors. This document provides all the guidelines necessary for preparation and formatting a manuscript. All manuscripts should be turned in to the Vitamin D Workshop Secretariat before the end of the Workshop on Friday June 22, 2012. The manuscripts will be peer reviewed over June, July and August 2012; all final decisions on acceptance should be completed by September 1st. This should permit publication in JSBMB early in January of 2013.
